Five tracks for bicycle lovers of all ages, and those who wish to rediscover the charm of this means of transport. The seaside resort of Bibione (province of Venice) invites you to get on a bike and appreciate the beauty and variety of its landscapes in harmony with nature. The cycling routes are easy to use. The beachfront bike path is especially suitable for families; it runs through the town's delightful parks and ends with a visit to Valgrande, a natural area of great environmental value. A dip in Bibione's green lung is the path that leads into the thick pine forest and resurfaces by the sea, near the mouth of the Tagliamento, in full view of a romantic lighthouse built in the early twentieth century. The third path offers a journey of discovery in the lagoon, with a possible detour to Prati Nuovi, an old farming village now deserted, or to the Lovi Canal area for a beautiful scenic walk. The fourth route touches Vallevecchia, an undeveloped beachfront area of great natural interest. It runs along the banks of the river Tagliamento, with the possibility of a detour to the Villanova paper mill, evidence of an economy that relied on waterways for centuries and was marked by the noble Venetian Mocenigo family.
